February 14th

Ah Valentine's Day, the one special day out of the year when it is appropriate to gorge yourself on sweets in the name love. And if you are in a relationship you are socially obligated to show extra affection to your significant-other(being PC sounds so sexy). And of course the only way you can show affection is with shiny things and sweets(yay capitalism!).
But I am not here to gripe about Valentine's Day, I have no ill feelings towards February. I do however have issues with the "Debbie Downers" out there who publicly lambast(you caught me, I've just been reading the Dictionary in my spare time) this holiday and those who celebrate it. I don't want to go below the belt here but what the hell I'll do it anyways; Just because you don't have someone to be your Valentine, or nobody sent you a CandyGram or flowers, does not mean you should try and diminish the fun other people are having. Don't be a curmudgeon, nobody likes a curmudgeon.

And now on to the creative stuff. Came up with a little poster idea for Valentine's Day, Cause nothing says "I Love You", like realistic representation of important organs and a dead guy in tub.

And if you are looking for a little chuckle ill refer you to my roommate's blog post about Singles Awareness Day Link

and now I leave you with the words of one Dr.Suess Phd.

We are all a little weird and
Life's a little weird,
And when we find someone whose
Weirdness is compatible with ours,
We join up with them and fall in
Mutual Weirdness and call it Love.

Have a lovely day(ok, I know it's night but go with me on this one)

The Return

Sunday,February 12th, 2012

That's right folks, I'm returning to the blogosphere (hate that word), with the posting and the writing and the pretending that millions of people are reading and hanging on my every word.I know there are only a few of you that browse though the site every now and then, well probably not much for the past year and half, due to a lack of updates on my part(Whoops, my bad). I will being this site a outlet for creativity, ramblings, reviews and anything else I want to put up, cause it's my blog and you can't do anything to stop me. Sorry, got a little belligerent there, won't happen again (ok I can't promise that, but I'll try). Well I've got a list of ideas for comics, other creative projects, and a photo class that should provide me with enough material to update the blog twice a week or so but I'm not committing to any two specific "update days", but there should be a good stream of content coming your way, so spread the word.

before I go, here is a link to my Flikr,( http://www.flickr.com/photos/bschoneberger/ ), photos that are not posted in the blog will be put there, or if I'm just to lazy to embed the photos in the post, that's where they will be.

now go forth an spread my word.

day sixty-nine

june 5th, day sixty-nine

was cleaning out the apt's fridge and found this red onion from about two quarters ago, and well this is what happens to onions if you leave them alone in the back of your fridge

day sixty-eight

june 4th, day sixty-eight

final for the inside of book, glued the lollipop in, and boom, done

and as a bonus i added a pic of the floral design that was inspired by my cardboard sculpture, i mentioned a pineapple one to this girl and she turned it into a whole tropical theme, the entire show was bad, they all added insane backdrops to our sculptures, my partner also called me a "boy" in her write-up, not man, or person or guy, but BOY, what am i? FIVE? but rant aside, our 3d professor was very dissapointed in the show, does not plan on doing it again unless he has control over how the pieces are shown
